As the blacksmith uses the anvil to form and mold the metal, so we should conform ourselves to the truth. Too many try to conform the truth to themselves.

As the blacksmith beats out the impurities from the metal over the anvil, so we should let the Lord drive the impurities from our lives using His truth. Too many are content to be unrefined.

As the blacksmith might break many hammers over his anvil, so many might stumble over the truth of God’s word. Too many fail to realize that just as the anvil will not change, neither will the truth.

Are you willing to let the Lord shape you, mold you, refine you and change you with the unchangeable truth of His word?
